Mary Alice Fielder

Mary Alice Fielder, 65, of West Memphis, formerly of Rector, died Monday, June 2, 2003, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.

She was born June 27, 1937, in Rector to Frank and Lura Holifield Cooper.

She was united in marriage to Rex D. Fielder on June 26, 1959, in Rector.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lura Cooper.

She is survived by her husband, Rex D. Fielder of West Memphis; one son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Amy Fielder of Olive Branch, Miss.; one daughter, Ivy Fielder of Memphis; three brothers, Bob Cooper of Marion, Ark., Edmond Cooper of Olive Branch, Miss., and Jery Cooper of Tumbling Shoals, Ark.; and four grandchildren, Anna Fielder, Jacob Fielder, Robert Gallarno and Joseph Fielder.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday (today), June 4. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2003, in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Charles Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove, which is West of Rector. In case of rain, the service will be held in the Irby Chapel.
