Tommy Eugene "Red" Burr

Tommy Eugene "Red" Burr, 73, of Paragould died Thursday June 19, 2003, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

He was born Jan. 22, 1930, in Poughkeepsie, Ark., the son of the late Clint Burr and Ruby Duncan Burr.

He married Rose Annette Fuller on March 13, 1953. She preceded him in death on March 18, 2001.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Hubert Lavon Burr.

He is survived by one son, Raymond Burr on Lampasses, Texas; two daughters, Rose Ann Parrish and husband, Jimmy, of Lafe and Judy Guillot and husband, Rick, of Paragould; two brothers, C.D. Burr of White Oak, Mo., and Jack Burr of Rector; five sisters, Sandy Coffman of Stockman, Calif., and Nadine Scallion, Sherry Faries, Sue Huggins and Sandra Burr, all of Paragould; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Ernie Rinks officiating.

Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett with McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Jeremy Parrish, Daniel Guillot, Nathan Guillot, Kevin Dickens, Burl Rogers and Billy Reed.
