Frances W. Copeland

She was born Oct. 22, 1919, in Pine Bluff, the daughter of the late Ira Winchester and Gladys (McDonald) Winchester.

She was a school teacher and a member of the First General Baptist Church

She was married to T.D. Hill, who died Jan. 22, 1974. She was also married to Melvin L. Copeland, who preceded her in death on June 4, 1988.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Carolyn Bennett of Phoenix, Ariz., Lois Taylor and Flora Eason, and three brothers, Donald Winchester, Hearold A. Winchester and Corlis I. Winchester.

She is survived by one son, Thomas Delbert Hill, Jr., of Vancouver, Wash.; one daughter, Sandra Lee Sisler of Rector; three grandchildren, Leandra Ashburn, Bree Hill-Grillo and Sean Thomas Hill; and one great grandchild, Caroline Ashburn.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Kenny Burns officiating.

Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Donnie Winchester, Jeff Winchester, Robbie Winston, Randy Winston, Dave Taylor and Richard Paul Dean.
