Mildred Phillips

She was born Nov. 23, 1928, at Hickoria, the daughter of the late Bob and Anna Woods.

She was retired from Basler Electric and was a member of Smith Chapel Baptist Church in Boydsville.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

She is survived by her husband, Rex Phillips, of the home; two sons, Kevin Phillips of Cabot and Scott Phillips of Hope; one brother, Donald Woods of Rockport, Texas; and four grandchildren, Kirk, Kara, Nathan and Natalie.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Ermert Funeral Home Chapel in Corning with Rev. Ernie Rinks officiating.

Burial was in Salem Cemetery in Boydsville with Ermert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
