Nina Gogue Richmond

Nina Gogue Richmond, 61, of Oak Hill, Va., formerly of Rector, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003, in Washington, D.C.

She was born Nov. 26, 1941, in Rector to the late Harold Eugene and Rheda Aline Gogue. She was a program manager for American System Corporation in Virginia and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Rich and Ellie Richmond of Severna Park, Mass.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Elisa and Al Zwanenburg of Flower Mound, Texas, and Lajeane Henslee of Sterling, Va.; eight grandchildren, Zack Zwanenburg, Zane Zwanenburg, Jeffrey Henslee, Ashley Henslee, Alyssa Henslee, Scott Richmond, Michael Richmond and Jordan Tucker.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at the First Baptist Church in Rector with Bro. Ardell Polk officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Jerry McIntosh, Don McIntosh, Rich Richmond, Al Zwanenburg, Jeffrey Henslee and Leland Blackshare. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Cranford, Mac Manchester and Hughey Linam.
