Ruby E. Vaden

She was born July 9, 1914, in Clay County, the daughter of the late William Nichols and Rosie Settlemire Nichols.

She was a homemaker and was of Baptist faith.

She was married to Jewel Vaden, who preceded her in death in 1983.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Settlemire, and one sister, Opal Steward.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Pauline Settlemire, and one nephew and his wife, Leonard and Sharon Settlemire, all of Rector.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (today) at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Brother Jack Bearden officiating.
