She was born Jan. 3, 1911, in Broken Arrow, Okla., the daughter of the late James Monroe and Iona Jenkins Cooper.
She married Radius Henry Baker on Jan. 9, 1927. He preceded her in death in 1979.
She was a member of the Rector First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Emma Gene Renfro and twins Delsie and Elsie Baker, and six brothers.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, James Garlon and Carmen Baker of Orange, Texas, Thomas Lloyd and Belinda Baker of Rector, Radius Jr. and Anita Baker of Jonesboro, and Michael Ray and Linda Baker of Wilmington, Dela.; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Nella and Paul Exum and Glenda and Jack Holifield, all of Paragould, and Mary Alline Wolfenbarger and Martha Froman of Rector; one brother, J.H. Cooper of Paragould; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at Irby Funeral Home in Rector.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at Rector First Baptist Church with Bro. Ardell Polk and Michael Baker officiating.
Burial will be in Woodland Heights Cemetery with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Alan Froman, Grant Froman, Radius Baker III, Mark Holifield, Bryan Exum, Ronnie Exum, James Wolfenbarger, Thomas Baker, David Baker, Kelly Baker, Jeffrey Baker, Erin Baker, Jon Baker, Bonita Kazmarski, Wilma Wilson and Kandi Baker.
