Esther J. Perrin

She was born March 27, 1911, in Rector, the daughter of the late William Finis Shannon and Ettie Gertrue (Shockley) Shannon.

She was a retired clerk for Brown Shoe Company and was a member of Rector First United Methodist Church. She had lived most of her life in this community.

She was married in 1937 to Clarence Lee Perrin, who preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers Tommy Shannon and Omer Shannon, and four sisters, Ruthie and Gracie Shannon, Pearl Storey and Lula Vinson.

She is survived by one sister, Eunis Morris of Rector, and many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 31, at Irby Funeral Home Chapels in Rector with Rev. Jim Anderson officiating.

Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
