She was born Jan. 1, 1942, in Pocahontas to the late Elmer Martin and Ruby Martin. She was a homemaker.
Her father, Elmer Martin, preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Niswonger of Doniphan, Mo., and Linda Emerson of Rector; her mother, Ruby Martin of Corning; two brothers, James Martin of Poplar Bluff and Gene Martin of Corning; four sisters, Faye Holland, Thelma Miller and Hazel Green, all of Corning, and Wanda Phillips of Pocahontas, and three grandchildren, Heath Miller, Jerry Niswonger Jr., and Breanna Emerson.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at Ermert Funeral Home Chapel in Corning with Rev. Billy Snow officiating. Burial was in Black's Cemetery in Success with Ermert Funeral Home of Corning in charge of arrangements.
