She was born April 18, 1912, in Rector to the late C.H. and Solphi Burford King.
She was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star of Rector, a former member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem of East St. Louis, Ill., and a member of the Maplewood Church of Christ in Cahokia.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Fry; one brother, Frank King; one sister, Earline Daily, and one nephew, Jim Daily King.
Survivors include one son, Frank Fry of Cahokia; two sisters, Alma Campbell of Kansas City, Kans., and Betty Zahn of Belleville, Ill.; three nephews, David Zahn of Belleville, Bill Campbell of Kansas City and John Daily of Rochester, Mich.; four nieces, Debbie Rice, Susan Hinkle, Delores Daily and Barbara, all of Flint, Mich., and one cousin, Vernelia King of Rector.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Ken Roden officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
