He was born Feb. 18, 1951, in White Oak to Fred Lee and Bobbie Jean Crum, now of Rector.
He was a veteran of the National Guard and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by one son, Garth Lee Crum; his grandfather, Fred Crum, and grandmother, Etta Vinson.
Survivors include his wife, Chrissy Crum of Jonesboro; his parents, Fred Lee and Bobbie Jean Crum of Rector; one son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Tina Grove of Bono; one daughter, Paige Patricia Crum of Jonesboro, and three grandchildren, Tyler, Slade and Kyra Crum of Bono.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Marvin Tate and Boyce Cate officiating. Burial followed at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector. Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were John Holmes, Gary McDaniel, Les Warr, A.J. McDaniel, Rob Smith and Gary Franklin.
