Local girl reported missing

Police are searching for a 16-year-old Rector girl missing since Thursday, Aug. 26.

Rector Police Chief Tommy Baker said Ronnika Smithee, a 5'5" blonde with blue eyes, called home on the night of Aug. 26 and was reported missing by her father, Ronald Smithee, on Saturday, Aug. 28.

Smithee reportedly told authorities he believes his daughter may be with friends in a red 2000 Camaro with Tennessee license plates. The girl's name was entered into the FBI's National Crime Information Center locator system.

Anyone with information on Ronnika Smithee is asked to call Baker or Detective Glenn Leach of the Rector Police Department at 870-595-2423.

The Smithees reside at 402 East Fourth Street in Rector.
