Lucy Pauline (Landrus) Reddick

Lucy Pauline (Landrus) Reddick, 80, of St. Charles, Mo., a native of Rector and formerly of Marmaduke, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Dec. 9, 1923, in Rector to the late Willis Edmond Landrus and Jessie Pearl Evans Landrus.

She was a payroll clerk for Emerson Electric and was a member of the Church of Christ.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Rudolph Reddick, and one brother, Jesse Landrus.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Mack and Lily Reddick of St. Charles; two daughters and one son-in-law, Patty George of Marfa, Texas, and Dianne and Donnie Adams of St. Peters, Mo.; two sisters, Opal Nutt of Healdsburg, Calif., and Ethel Stafford Cox of Rector; four grandchildren, Keela Young, Holly Rodriguez, Jennifer Franklin and Mark Houltzhouser, and five great-grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica, Mackenzie, Aiden and Tori.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke with Ken Roden officiating. Burial was in Woodland Height Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Bual Cox, Owen Evans, Floyd Ellis, Wayne Reagans, Tom Landrus and Butch Reddick.
