She was born July 20, 1918, in Fredricktown, Mo., to the late Charles and Iva Wentworth.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Roy William Ray; one son, Donald Ray; three daughters, Elsie Stephens, Stella Marie and Katherine Hays, and two brothers, Frank and Eugene Wentworth.
Survivors include three sons, Wilburn Hinch of Desoto, Mo., William Ray of Marmaduke and Ervin Ray of Paragould; two daughters, Gala Thomas of Proctor and Barbara Proctor of Marmaduke; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Irby Funeral Home in Marmaduke with Arvil Hill officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home of Marmaduke in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Shane Green, Tim Stacy, Larry Ray, Adam Ray, Jessie Ray and Asa Ray. Honorary pallbearers were Carl Rippy and Melvin Quick.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Terry's Residential Care at Proctor for Gala Thomas, handicapped daughter.
