James Truman Landrum

James Truman Landrum, 90, of Rector died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at Piggott Community Hospital.

Born June 12, 1914, in Leonard to the late William and Artra Landrum, he was a truck driver and a member of the Rector First General Baptist Church.

He also was preceded in death by his first wife, Estelle Williamson Landrum, in 1985.

Survivors include his wife, Freeda Duffell Landrum of the home; six sons, Tommy Landrum of China, Mich., Jimmy Landrum of Charlotte, N.C., Melvin Landrum of Warren, Mich., Billy Landrum of Hazel Park, Mich., Johnny Duffel of Jonesboro and Gary Duffel of Paragould; two daughters, Katie Buc of Madison Heights, Mich., and Jayne Calvin of Rector; one brotner, Donald Landrum of Dallas; three sisters, Pauline Bedard of Ring City, Mich., Faye Bombisco of Warren, Mich., and Wilma Joyce Moore of Roseville, Mich., 15 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Kenny Burns officiating. Burial was in Cadillac Cemetery in Clinton Township, Mich.

Irby Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
