Mrs. Clyde Elizabeth Cook

Mrs. Clyde Elizabeth Cook, 86, of Thayer, Mo., formerly of Rector and Jonesboro, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at Shadow Oaks Care Center in Thayer.

She was born Aug. 5, 1918, at Wilmar, Ark., to the late Phillip Edmonson Schell and Mima Jane Edmonston Schell and was married Dec. 23, 1936, to Allen Cook, who preceded her in death May 25, 1985.

She also was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry D. Cook and Rudy V. Cook; one brother, W.R. Schell; one sister, Katherine Swindle, and one grandson, Dr. Shane Cook.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip D. Cook Sr. and wife Gloria of Jonesboro and Roger D. Cook and wife Donna of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen Fiorino and husband Dr. Joseph Fiorino of Thayer; one brother, Allen Douglas Schell of Farmington, Mo.; two sisters, Frances Schuermann of Boone, N.C., and Ann Cope of Kennett, Mo., 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Jan. 12) at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Charles Karnes officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Garden at Kennett.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Cook Jr., Brett Cook, Joe Fiorino, Bruce Cook, Gary Mills, Derek Webb and Mark Ashby.
