Vadalia Francis Pruett

Vadalia Francis Pruett, 86, of Paragould, formerly of Rector, died Friday, April 1, 2005, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Born March 14, 1919, to the late Calvin Busby and Beulah Payne Busby, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Rector.

She was married in 1952 to Albert Pruett, who preceded her in death May 31, 1996. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Glenda Gregory, and two brothers, Derrell Busby and Bert Busby.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Betty Pruett of Paragould and Mark and Beth Pruett of Schertz, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Nelda and Murry Fisher of Osage Beach, Mo.; one sister, Eulalia Howard of Kennett; seven grandchildren, Chuck, Russ, Derek, Cheryl, Kerry, Christine and Amanda, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, April 4, at Rector First Baptist Church with Bro. Ardell Polk officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Chuck Gregory, Russ Gregory, Derek Gregory, Travis Vineyard, Joe Pruett and J.D. Chadwick.
