Genevieve Maxine Lovelady

Graveside services for 86-year-old Genevieve Maxine Lovelady of Fenton, Mich., formerly of Rector, will be at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, April 20) at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Rev. Larry Martineau officiating.

Irby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lovelady was born March 4, 1919, in Rector to the late Abner Bismark and Evalline (Utley) Vowell.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Lovelady; two sisters, Murley Price and Faye Butler, and a daughter, Joy Cruce.

Survivors include two daughters, Billie Ponder of Fenton, Mich., and Betty and husband Francis Bartels of Fenton, Mich.; three sons, Jim Cruce and wife Carol of Lapeer, Mich., Jerry Lyles of California and Eric Lovelady; three brothers, Billy Vowell of Southgate, Mich., Ray Vowell of Bowling Green, Ky., and Joe Vowell and wife Pat of Garden City, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
