Jewell Lee Harp

Born Jan. 8, 1926, in Tampa, Fla., to the late Oscar Beard and Altie Beard, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was married May 9, 1947, to Maurice Harp.

Surviviors include her husband of 58 years, Maurice, of the home; one son, Thomas Owen Harp of Indianapolis, Ind.; three daughters, Robin Mitchell of Cloverdale, Ind., Donna Smith of Indianapolis and Marcia Keppler of Concord, Mich.; one sister, Billie Wilcoxson of Little Rock; 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren with another on the way.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Bro. Ken Roden officiating. Irby Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
