Reva Marie Dowdy, 81, of Paragould, formerly of Rector, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2005.

She was born July 23, 1924, to the late Henry and Lilly (Beal) Dowdy. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Marcell Townsend.

Survivors include nieces, Jeanie Baker and Sherry Baker of Jonesboro, Becky Adams of Marion, Tersa Dallas of Wynne and Tina Townsend of Fort Worth, Texas; one aunt, Geraldine Beal of Jonesboro, and a cousin, Jerry Beal.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 14) at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Rev. Larry Martineau officiating. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. today at Irby Funeral Home in Rector.
