Hazel Zora (Wilcoxson) Reed, 87, of Biggers died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005, at her home.

She was born Aug. 19, 1918, in Lexington, Ala., to the late W.J. and Viola (Michael) Wilcoxson and was married March 20, 1959, to Sheral Reed, who died Sept. 1, 2001.

She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Ed Halcomb of Biggers and Stella and Brad Rutherford of Vinita, Okla.; one step-daughter, Mae Lou Lautner of Arnold, Mo.; a special god-daughter, Knea and Tom Morris; two stepsons, J.C. Reed of Blackwell, Mo., and Bobby Lee Reed of Montana; four brothers, Tony Wilcoxson of Rector, Ralph Wilcoxson of Leoma, Tenn., Jessie Wilcoxson of Milford, Mich., and Osborn Wilcoxson of East Peoria, Ill.; one sister, Lucille Halm of Newayago, Mich., 10 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, two step-great-great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 21) at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Chris Dixon officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.

Pallbearers were Randy Halcomb, Bob Halcomb, Bob Ingram, Tom Morris, Bob Birdsell and Gaylon Wilcoxson. Irby Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
