Frank (Bud) Ketner

Frank (Bud) Ketner, 70, of Corcoran, Calif., formerly of Rector, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006, after a 15-year battle with Parkinson's disease.

Mr. Ketner settled in Corcoran in 1951 and was a member of the Corcoran Assembly of God Church.

He was born June 14, 1935, in Rector, the son of the late Floyd and Pauline Ketner.

He also was preceded in death by a sister, Hilda Turner; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Turner and Ervin Cribbs, and two nephews, Stanley Cribbs and Garry Dooley.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise Ketner; one son, Steve Ketner; two daughters, Wanda Ketner and Brenda Tidwell, both of Lemoore, Calif.; two sisters, Mary Cribbs of Corcoran and Edith Vawter of Port Hueneme, Calif., and several nieces and nephews, including Linda Greenway and James Turner of Rector and Nina Dooley of Conway, formerly of Rector.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the New Hope Fellowship Assembly of God Church in Corcoran.

Pallbearers were his son, son-in-law and grandsons, Steve Ketner, Jeremy Ketner, Brandon Ketner, Mike Tidwell, Travis Tidwell and Jake Tidwell.
