William Henry (Bill) Mobley

William Henry (Bill) Mobley, 83, of Rector died Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Born April 24, 1922, to the late C.J. and Minnie Mobley, he was a cattleman and a longtime member and Elder of the Boydsville Church of Christ.

Also preceding him in death were his wife, Maxine Mobley; one son, Mike Mobley, four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn L. and Tim Carter of Rector and Margaret and Larry Balwin of Mayfield, Ky.; one daughter-in-law, Julie Mobley of Rector, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with John Bradshaw and Tim Carter officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Phil Clayton, Bruce Benson, Scott Bucy, Mark Clayton, Michael Branson, Mike DeVault and Mike Lindsey.

Honorary pallbearers were Pete Boyd, William Olive, Hershel Branson, Earl Clayton, J.C. Clayton and Reuben Seay.
