Earline Pruett

Earline Pruett, 88, died Thursday, May 4, 2006, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Born Feb. 10, 1918, in Marmaduke to the late Billie and Ollie Brewer, she was a retired cook at the Marmaduke School and a member of the Providence Missionary Baptist Church.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Ode Pruett, to whom she was married Nov. 11, 1941; one sister, Alice Fultz; twin brothers, Clois and Lois Brewer; one son-in-law, Clyde Kitchen, and one grandson, Brent Kitchen.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Ava Sue and Mickey Payne, Linda and Tony Gibson, all of Marmaduke, and Regena Kitchen of Hot Springs; five grandchildren, James Payne and Shawn Gibson, both of Marmaduke, Danny Kitchen, Judy Kitchen and Carol Robbins, all of Hot Springs; six grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a special nephew, David Levoid Fultz of Marmaduke; one great-niece, Melinda Hill of Savannah, Ga., and one great-nephew, David Fultz of Kennett, Mo.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, May, 7, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould with Carl Cate and Gary Morris officiating. Burial followed in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home of Paragould in charge of arrangements.
