Helen Julie Cornelison

Helen Julie Cornelison, 89, formerly of Rector, died Sunday, April 30, 2006, at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich, Mich.

She was born March 12, 1917, in Arkansas and was a resident of Flint, Mich., from 1952 until she retired to Arkansas in 1973.

Mrs. Cornelison worked for AC Engineering in food service. She returned to Michigan in July of 1999.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tribble B. Cornelison, and one son, Jerry M. Cornelison.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Donna R. Cornelison of Flint; four grandchildren and their spouses, Thomas B. and Lori Cornelison, Lori A. and Chris Luecherman, Shari L. and Timothy Keener and Amy C. and Daniel Owens; eight great-grandchildren, and many beloved family members and friends.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 4, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould with Bro. James Henry Dortch officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
