Tommy Clubb, 63, of Marmaduke died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at Brooksville Regional Hospital in Brooksville, Fla.

Born May 16, 1942, in Walcott, Mr. Clubb was a retired contractor and a member of the Marmaduke First Baptist Church. His greatest joy was helping other people.

Survivors include one son, Kevin Clubb, of Brooksville, Fla.; two daughters, Renee Curtwright of Jonesboro and Julie Ann Baker of Marmaduke; his mother-in-law, Henrietta Penney of Marmaduke; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Max and Ernestine Clubb of Asheville, N.C., Bill and Betty Clubb of Piedmont, Mo., Curt and Mary Ann Clubb of Imperial, Mo., and Carl and Dianna Clubb of Silva, Mo.; six grandchildren, Justin, Jessica and Janae Beggs of Jonesboro, Keelie and Kasey Baker of Rector and Peyton Clubb of Jasper, Tenn., and by numerous nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Penney Clubb; his parents, Joe and Serene Clubb, and by his father-in-law, Rev. Chester Penney.

Funeral services were at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at Marmaduke First Baptist Church with Kim Bridges and David White officiating. Burial followed in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.

His brothers served as honorary pallbearers.
