Charles Aud Malin, 76, of Rector died Sunday, May 21, 2006, at his home.

Born July 27, 1929, in Rector, he was the son of the late Clifton Clayton Malin and Lottie Mae (Aud) Malin. He was married to Jessie (Sharp) Malin on Jan. 26, 1950, in Hayti, Mo.

He was a retired rural letter carrier and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rector, the VFW, Rector Business Men and the Rector Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Mary Malin of St. Louis; one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Rob Louder of Rector; six grandchildren, David Cohn, Keat and Heidi Cohn, Seth Cohn, Meagan Louder, Mika Malin and Margo Malin; two great-grandchildren, Mason Cohn and Hayden Cohn, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 24) at the First United Methodist Church in Rector with Rev. Larry Martineau officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Scott Richardson, David Sanford, Brian Linam, Mark Morgan, Todd Ford and Shayne Roofe. Honorary pallbearers are Mac Manchester, Jimmy Crews, Rich Langille, Keith Curtis, Wes Stallcup and Paul Schwager.
