Patricia Ann Thorne

Patricia Ann Thorne, 66, of Pontiac, Mich., daughter of Dimple Read of Rector, died Thursday, May 18, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac.

Born Jan. 15, 1940, in Grantiac, Ill., she worked as a waitress.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Sides; her stepfather, Van Read, and one son, Michael Thorne.

Survivors include her mother, Dimple Read of Rector; one daughter, Vickie Rayburn; one granddaughter, April Thorne; two great-grandchildren, Tylor Thorne and Bailey Thorne, and one brother, Charles Sides Jr.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, May 22, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Rev. Ardell Polk officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were James Gregory, Byron Gregory, Roger Gregory, Mike Holman, Gregg Sain and Joey Pruett. Honorary pallbearers were Tony Holman and Harold Holman.
