William A. (Bill) Garrett of Cisne, Ill., a native of Rector, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006.

The son of the late Artie and Esther Garrett, he was born and raised in the Rector area.

Survivors include his wife, Radean, of Cisne; two daughters, Pamela Pitts of Maplewood, Mo., and Patricia Crow of Pine Bluff; one brother, Duane Garrett of Paragould; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Velma Gibbs of Rosene, Ky., Elaine Wyman of Xenia, Ill., and Euvona and Verlon Bishop of Paragould, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 20, in Flora, Ill.
