Born Aug. 14, 1948, in Highland Park, Mich., to James Hulan and Freeda (Speer) Everett, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of VFW Post 3416, a life member of DAV Chapter 21 and a member of the NRA.
He was married Dec. 3, 1982, to Sandra "Chris" Fowler, who survives, along with their children, son Chad Everett of Paragould and daughters Kimberly Carlson of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Kassandra Everett of Chesterfield, Mo. Also surviving are his mother, Freeda (Speer) Everett of Rector, three granddaughters and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Hulan Everett, and brother, James Larry Everett.
Graveside military services were held Friday, July 14, at Bloomfield, Mo., Military Cemetery with Dr. Harold Bray officiating.
