Betty Miller

Betty Miller, 84, of Kennett, Mo., formerly of Rector, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born June 2, 1922, in Mobile, Ala., she was retired from Brown Shoe Company and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Miller.

Survivors include one son, Robert L. Miller Jr. of St. Louis, Mo.; one daughter, Pat Mitchell of Kennett; two brothers, Rhue Stevenson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Albert Orso of Winewood, Okla.; one sister, Jeanette Reed of Phoenix, four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with James Collins and Don Slatton officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
