Charles E. "Chuck" Martin

Charles E. "Chuck" Martin, 42, of Denver, Colo., a native of Clay County, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, in Denver.

Born April 27, 1964, in Piggott, he was a carpet layer and of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Fred and Vera Martin and Jerry and Mary Lewis.

Survivors include his parents, Charles D. and Mary Janice Martin of Jonesboro; one daughter, Shannon Bultena of Denver; two brothers, Robert Martin of Midway and Jon Martin of Jonesboro; two sisters, Louisa Smith of Monticello and Teresa Puente of Groves, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Jack Bearden officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery with Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector in charge of arrangements.
