Born April 28, 1947, in Light, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Ivan Addison and Wanda Lee (Kemp) Lenderman.
Other survivors include her husband, James Thomas Moon Sr., to whom she was married 30 years; her children, James T. Moon Jr. and his wife Kathy of Berlin, Pa., Mrs. David (Janet) Kascur, David L. Moon and his wife Stacy, and Benjamin Moon and friend Kelly Bottorff, all of Somerset, Jennifer Moon and friend Michael Pellegrini of Boise, Idaho; brother-in-law, Carroll Hamm of Rector; another sister, Iva Taylor and her husband Bobby of Dardanelle, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A graduate of Harding University at Searcy, she was a member of Somerset Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday school. She worked until her retirement in 2000 as a case worker for the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare. She enjoyed traveling and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home in Somerset with Ronald Longwell officiating. Interment was in Bakersville Cemetery.
