Thomas Riley Faucett, 85, of Rector, died Monday March 19, 2007 at his residence.

Born June 4, 1921 in Adkins to the late Wiley Faucett and Florence (Oats) Faucett. He was a Navy veteran, a farmer and of the Church of Christ faith.

Also preceding him in death was his wife, Verna Chilcutt Faucett on Oct. 6, 2005; three brothers, Ben, Bob and Bud Faucett; and one sister, Lucille Abbott. Survived by longtime caregivers Melvin and Brenda Mills.

Visitation will be held Wednesday March 21 (tonight) from 5 until 8 p.m. at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday March 22, 2007 at Irby Funeral Home with Gail Benson officiating, burial will be in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers are Melvin Mills, Alvie Chilcutt, Slim Moore, Jerry White, Clay Robinson and Avery George.
