Porter Stow, 54, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Monday, April 9, 2007, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Born Feb. 7, 1953, in McDougal to the late James Granville Stow and Nora Beatrice (O'Guin) Stow, he was employed by Hart's Manufacturing Company. He was a 3rd Degree Mason and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed deer hunting, collecting Nascar items and loved walking his dog, Patrick.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Faye (Pipkin) Stow, of the home; one son, Porter Stow II of Rector; one daughter, Tracy Stow of Kennett, Mo.; two step-daughters, Christy Spencer of Poplar Bluff and Jessie Jones of Naylor, Mo.; one brother, Terry Stow of Corning; one sister, Linda Husketh of Piggott; five grandchildren, Logan Stow, Matt Calhoun, Brianna Calhoun, Harmony Stow and Montana Stow; three step-grandchildren, Brittney Maulden, Jenna Harvey and Michael Harvey III, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, James Weldon Stow, Rolie Stow, Darvin Stow, Gary Stow and Fairn Stow, and two sisters, Deloris Doss and Nayriene Buchanan.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at Ermert Funeral Home Chapel in Corning with a graveside Masonic service. Officiating minister will be Robert Moore. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time Thursday.
