Dan Cole

Dan Cole, 78, of Rector died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, at Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation in Rector. He was born July 19, 1929, in Shelby County, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Mary Cole; one son, Charley Cole; two brothers, Penny and Charley Cole, and one sister, Ruth Cole.

He is survived by a son and his wife, Lawton and Donna Cole of Paragould; a son, Daniel Cole of Huntsville, Texas; three daughters, Connie Kirksey and Nancy Bullinger of

Rector and Elizabeth and Michael Smith of Sandy Hook, Ky.; six brothers, Johnny Cole, Harold Cole, Billy Cole of Florida, Milton Cole, Melvin Cole and Albert Cole of Michigan; three sisters, Eva Price of Searcy, Sue Hernandez and Doris Bounds of Marcellus, Mich.; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer Knight, Denise Vanoven, Nicholas Cole, Ami Cole, Dustin Smith, Summer Kroh, John Thomas, Arianna Thomas, Jacob Bullinger, Jonathan Cole and Casey Cole, and eight great-grandchildren, Ryan, Colton and Jodi Vanoven, Mason and Denver Knight, Austin, Chlor and Deja Kroh.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 3) at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector. Visitation will begin at 12 noon at Irby Funeral Home in Rector.
