Virgil Clarence Grubb

Virgil Grubb, 82, of Boydsville died Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Born Nov. 22, 1924, in the Rector area, he was a farmer and had retired from an area shoe factory.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Floyie Grubb.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Grubb of Boydsville, and a special companion, Frances Nichols of Rector.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Irby Funeral Home in Rector with Phillip Bynum officiating. Burial was in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
