Leonard R. Settlemire

Leonard R. Settlemire, 48, of Rector died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born July 13, 1959, in Kennett, Mo., to Georgie Pauline Settlemire and the late Cecil Settlemire, he was a farmer, a lifelong member of the community and of the General Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Settlemire of the home; his mother, Pauline Settlemire of the home; aunts, Nancy Martee of Kennett and Janice Crouch of Brinkley, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Friday, March 28, at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway with Bro. Marston Carpenter officiating.
