Willie Walker Pratt, 82, of Rector died Thursday, March 27, 2008, in Kennett, Mo.

Born Oct. 15, 1925, in Cardwell, Mo., to the late W.W. Pratt and Katie Shatley Pratt, he was a carpenter and had lived all his life in this area. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He was married to Laveral Vowell Pratt on Dec. 31, 1942.

Also preceding him in death were one brother, Tom Pratt, and one sister, Ollie Pratt Edgin.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Laveral Pratt of Rector; one son, Billy Ray Pratt of Marmaduke; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Richard Gossett of Rector, Geraldine and Bill Barclay of Florissant, Mo., and Debbie and Tom Toloneco of Canonsburg, Pa.; two brothers, Glen Pratt and Arvel Pratt, both of Rector; one sister, Eula Bell Reynolds of Pea Ridge; nine grandchildren, Jeff Ferguson, Kevin Pratt, Lisa Carpenter, Andrea Stockert, Michael and Travis Gossett, Nicole, Dominic and Marissa Toloneco, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, March 31, at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Jeff Ferguson, Kevin Pratt, Michael Gossett, Frank Carpenter, Eddie Williams, Charles Hampton, Rodney Hampton and Skip Smith.
