Eunice Nola Harris

Eunice Nola Harris, 93, of Piggott, died Monday, March 31, 2008, in the Murphy Health and Rehabilitation Center in Piggott.

She was born April 3, 1914, in Salem, Ark., the daughter of the late Joseph and Roxie Tucker Newberry.

She was united in marriage to Birl Harris on June 21, 1930. He preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 1978.

Survivors include a son, Sonny Harris and wife Diana of Fisk; a daughter, Helen Hain of North Ridgeville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 5, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Jack Bearden officiating. Burial was in Piggott Cemetery. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott handled the arrangements.
