Born May 23, 1923, in Rector to the late Lidge and Hazel Frets Coats, she was a member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Dickson. She was a retired Civil Service employee with the Robins U.S. Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Ga., where she was a logistics and transportation specialist.
Also preceding her in death were her first husband, Calvin Bannister; her second husband, Robert Daley; her third husband, Jacob Runft; one brother, John Curtis Coats, and a son-in-law, James Webb McKeel on March 15, 2006.
Survivors include one daughter, Sunnye June McKeel of Dickson; one son, Michael John (Jodi) Daley of Warner Robins; five grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Sample and Jason Lee McKeel, both of Dickson, Michael David Daley of Warner Robins, Lindsay Kyle Daley and Christopher Ryan Daley, both of Indianapolis, Ind., and great-grandchildren, Megan, Taylor, MacKenzie and Keaton Sample, Jacob, Emily and Virginia McKeel, Kaitlyn Daley and Joni and David Highfill.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at McEvoy Chapel in Paris, Tenn. Burial was at 3 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with McEvoy Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
