Jerry VanWinters

Jerry VanWinters, Jr., 36, of Leoma, Tenn., died Sunday, April 20, 2008, in Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Tenn.

He was born Sept. 5, 1971, in Poplar Bluff, and was the son of Jerry and Shirley Whitcomb VanWinters.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley, and his sister, Rose Lee VanWinters.

He is survived by his father, Jerry VanWinters of Piggott; his wife, Darla VanWinters of Paragould; a brother, Kenny VanWinters and wife Cathy of Senatobia, Miss.; a sister, Sandra VanWinters of Jonesboro; a close friend, Denise Smith of Leoma, Tenn.; two step-children, Allen Clark, Jr. and Daisy Holifield, both of Piggott; two step-grandchildren, Shawn, Jr. and Cody, and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held, Wednesday, April 23, in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard with Loy Culver officiating. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of arrangements.
