Dewayne L. Huffstutler
Dewayne L. Huffstutler, 75, of Rector died Saturday, May 3, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born Feb. 15, 1933, in Boydsville to the late Carl Huffstutler and Vinnie Nash Huffstutler, he was a long-time area resident, retired warehouse supervisor with Emerson Electric, was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove Heights, a minister and a veteran of the Army.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Jerry Huffstutler and Denny Huffstutler, and a sister, Euba Hardin.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Lorene Huffstutler of Rector; a son, Tim Huffstutler and wife Lisa of Paragould; two daughters, Donna Watson and husband Bill of Paragould, and Juanita Green and husband Joe of Richmond, Mo.; a brother, Paul Huffstutler of Lafe; three sisters, Gloria Riney of Paragould; Janis Mitchell of Paragould and Joyce Lewis of Marmaduke, six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove Heights in Paragould, with Rev. David Stallings officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Faith Funeral Service of Manila in charge of arrangements.
