Thomas Ray Gower

He was born on March 27, 1936, in Pollard, and was the son of the late Ernest Gower and Florence Nettles Gower Davis.

Tom found the Lord early in his life and at the time of his death attended the Fagus General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Judy Gower of Pollard. Also surviving are his daughter Tanya Hayes and husband Dean of Columbia, Ky.; his son Scott Gower and wife Kim of Stuttgart, Ark.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are his brother Bob Gower and wife Rachel of Piggott and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 4, at the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Murray officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard. Pallbearers were Dustin Bradshaw, Jordan Hayes, Alex McGhee, George Gower, Jr., Gaylon Burkman and David Wagster. Chuck Moffit and David Braden served as honorary pallbearers. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott were charged with the arrangements.
