Darrel Neeley

Darrel Neeley, 62, of Forrest City died suddenly Friday, June 13, 2008, at the Forrest City Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 12, 1945, at Boydsville, and was the son of Robert Earl Neeley and Virginia (Ethridge) Neeley. He had lived in Forrest City since 1972. He was a milkman and a member of the New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church at Colt.

He married Judy Mobley in 1966, and she survives him along with three sons, Terral Neeley of Strawberry, Jeff Neeley of Bono and Kurt Neeley of Forrest City. He is also survived by his parents, Earl and Virginia Neeley of McDougal; two brothers, Ronnie Neeley of Piggott and Rick Neeley of Jonesboro; a sister, Barbara Tice of Jonesboro; and five grandchildren, Taylor, Treaton, Trace, Dillon and Sarah. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Neeley and Katherine Hope Neeley.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 16, at the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Loughridge Cemetary. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church, 2718 Highway 306 East, Colt, AR., 72326.
