Florence Rowlett Cavaness, 84, of Bono, died Thursday July 24, 2008, in Jonesboro.

She was born in Guy, Ark., on Aug. 1, 1923, to the late Earl and Ruth (Dodd) Rowlett

and was married to the late Ralph Cavaness May 3, 1943. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Also preceding her in death was a daughter, Cathie Jean Brannan.

Survivors include a great-granddaughter, Cindy Troutman of Paragould; two grandsons, Chad Hogard of Jonesboro and Shane Hogard of Piggott; a granddaughter-in-law, Amber Hogard of Jonesboro; two great-grandsons, Tyler Troutman of Paragould and Jackson Hogard of Jonesboro; several neices, nephews and friends.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mark Farrar officiating.

Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.
