Clifton Gwathney

Clifton Gwathney, 60, of Jonesboro died Thursday, July 31, in Jonesboro. Born June 9, 1948, in Palestine, Ark., to the late Melvin and Thelma Gwathney, he was a factory worker and of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Gwathney of the home; one sister, Linda Sue Reeves of Colt; his mother-in-law, Flora Bradley, and brother-in-law, Billy Patterson of Rockford.

Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, with Bill Willard officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
