Sallie Marie Herren

Sallie Marie Herren, 90, of Rector died Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

She was born Oct. 31, 1917, to the late William and Rhoda (Chilcutt) Reed.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Herren; two brothers, Silas Reed and Thomas Reed, and one sister, Duel Simpson.

She is survived by three sisters, Goldie Parmenter of Rector, Corine Simpson of Rector and Vergine Thompson of Senath, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at the First United Methodist Church in Rector. Interment will be in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at the church.
