Donny Oliver, 74, of Ebro, Fla., died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, in Panama City, Fla.

He was born July 7, 1934, in Rector to Argolis Oliver and Gertrude Waldron Oliver. He had been a resident of Panama City since 1980.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa; his brothers, Kenneth, Arlanza, Lindus and Doyce, and his sister, Arlene.

He is survived by his seven children, Glen Oliver of St. Louis, Mo., Kathy Olney of Jonesboro, Latrisha Gurney of Jonesboro, Keith Oliver of Little Rock, Kelly Oliver of Rector and James Oliver and Christopher Oliver of Jonesboro; a sister, Wilma Jean Hillman of Panama City, Fla.; a brother, John S. Oliver of Kennett, Mo.; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, at Irby Funeral Home in Rector. Interment was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
