Robalene Virginia Lankford

Robalene Virginia Lankford, 85, of Rector died Wednesday, Sept. 24. Born May 22, 1923, in Marmaduke to the late Robert and Sarah Allen, she was a homemaker, a member of Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was saved in 1938.

Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Virginia Imogene Allen and Beulah Mae Amason, and one nephew, Robert Ervin Graves.

Survivors include two daughters and their spouses, Janice and Joey Pruett and Sharon and Danny Turnbo, all of Rector; one sister, Estell Eula Graves of Paragould; three grandchildren and their spouses, Amy and Steve Ward, Ashley and Robby Burns and Sarah and Terry Burdin, all of Rector, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector with Don Morris and Junior Small officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Doran Thompson, Robby Burns, J.D. Chadwick, Keith Graves, David Deniston and Michael Graves.
